Role Description The Construction Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Tumkur, responsible for overseeing day-to-day construction activities on structural engineering and related projects. The role includes supervising site operations, coordinating with engineers and contractors, ensuring work is executed according to drawings, specifications, and quality standards, and monitoring progress against schedules. The Construction Supervisor will conduct regular inspections, verify compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, and implement corrective actions where needed. This position also involves managing site documentation, preparing daily reports, participating in project meetings, and supporting effective communication between project stakeholders. The supervisor will guide and support site teams, promote safe work practices, and help maintain a productive and collaborative work environment.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Supervisory Skills and proven experience in Site Supervision on building construction projects (Non Oil & Gas).
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for coordinating with project teams, contractors, and clients, and for preparing clear site reports.
- Candidates should possess expertise in Inspection activities, including checking workmanship, verifying compliance with drawings and standards, and documenting findings.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of Construction Safety practices, including hazard identification, safety briefings, and enforcement of HSE guidelines.
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in civil/structural engineering or a related field is preferred.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, use standard measurement tools, and work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong problem-solving attitude, attention to detail, and willingness to work on-site in a fast-growing industrial environment.
