Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Bengaluru for a Construction Site Manager. The Construction Site Manager will oversee all aspects of site management, including planning, budgeting, cost control, and ensuring projects are completed on time and to the highest standards of quality. Responsibilities include coordinating with contractors, supervising construction activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and managing resources effectively to meet project goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage multiple residential and commercial interior/construction projects from initiation to final handover.
- Ensure timely execution of all site activities in line with project schedules, drawings, and defined quality standards.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, workmanship quality, and compliance with specifications.
- Develop, track, and manage detailed project timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
- Supervise and coordinate on-site teams including supervisors, labor, contractors, and vendors for smooth operations.
- Assign daily tasks, monitor productivity, and resolve on-site challenges proactively with a solution-oriented approach.
- Plan and coordinate material procurement, forecast requirements, and ensure timely availability at site.
- Maintain accurate records of materials, inventory, and project budgets to control costs effectively.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients and internal teams, providing regular progress updates, reports, and site documentation.
- Maintain proper documentation including site reports, attendance, quality checks, and support process improvements through SOP development.
What We’re Looking For
- 2–5 years of experience in Project Execution/Project Management in Interior Design or construction.
- Strong on-ground execution experience - not just coordination, but actual problem-solving on site.
- Knowledge of materials, civil/interior site processes, electrical/plumbing basics, and BOQs.
- Excellent leadership, team handling, and people management skills.
- Tech-savvy with ability to manage Google sheets, Zoho Projects, Project tracking tools and communication platforms like Whatsapp/Slack.
- Fluent in Kannada, Tamil and Hindi (for labour/vendor communication); English for Internal/client updates.
- Self-driven, organised and able to handle pressure.
