Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Construction Safety Officer located in Thane, Mumbai. The Construction Safety Officer will be responsible for overseeing workplace safety practices, conducting health and safety inspections, implementing occupational health measures, and leading accident investigations. The role also involves providing safety training to employees, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and supporting initiatives to improve workplace security and hazard prevention within construction environments.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Health & Safety policies and Occupational Health standards
- Ability to conduct thorough Accident Investigation and implement corrective actions
- Experience in Security management and hazard assessment
- Proficiency in Safety Training, including designing and delivering effective programs
- Strong knowledge of local and international safety regulations and compliance
- Problem-solving skills and an analytical approach to safety challenges
- Relevant certifications in safety, occupational health, or related fields are an advantage
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health, Safety Management, or a related discipline preferred
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
