Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Lucknow for a Construction Purchaser Support Specialist. The role involves assisting the procurement team in sourcing construction materials, issuing purchase orders, and managing supplier relationships. Additional responsibilities include coordinating with project teams to ensure timely delivery of materials, maintaining accurate records, and adhering to budgetary guidelines. The specialist will also facilitate vendor negotiations and help ensure compliance with company procurement policies.
Qualifications
- Experience in procurement, vendor management, and sourcing construction materials
- Strong negotiation and communication skills for building and maintaining supplier relationships
- Proficiency in recordkeeping, data management, and budget monitoring
- Familiarity with construction industry standards, materials, and compliance requirements
- Analytical and problem-solving skills to ensure cost-effective and timely procurement
- Proficiency in using procurement and inventory management software
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business administration, construction management, or a related field
- Prior experience in the construction industry is a strong advantage
