Silicon Valley Construction Services (SVCS)
$800–$1,500/month | Remote | San Francisco, CA Time
Are you an experienced Construction Project Manager / Estimator with strong experience in civil construction, quantity takeoffs, estimating, and project coordination?
SVCS is looking for a hands-on professional who can manage construction projects while also supporting accurate estimating and quantity takeoffs for civil and site-development work.
What You’ll Work On
- Prepare quantity takeoffs and estimates from construction plans
- Perform takeoffs for excavation, earthwork, grading, filling, roads, concrete, and site development
- Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQs)
- Develop Scopes of Work, RFQs, and RFPs
- Source and coordinate vendors and subcontractors
- Review contractor quotes and prepare cost comparisons
- Develop and manage project schedules
- Coordinate project teams and monitor progress
- Track punch lists and project completion
- Communicate project updates with clients, contractors, and vendors
Required Experience
- Master’s degree in Engineering, preferably Civil Engineering
- 2+ years of relevant construction industry experience U.S Experience will be prefered
- Experience in construction project management AND estimating
- Strong knowledge of civil/site construction and quantity takeoffs
- Experience with AGTEK and/or PlanSwift or equivalent estimating software
- Experience with excavation, earthwork, grading, filling, road construction, and site development
- Availability Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM San Francisco time
- Willingness to use Time Doctor or similar screen-recording software
Compensation
$1,500/month, based on experience and qualifications.
