Hiring: Project Manager – ROB/RUB Projects (Nagpur) 🚧

Ghai Buildcon is looking for an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead our ROB (Road Over Bridge) and RUB (Road Under Bridge) projects in Nagpur. A site-leadership role for someone who can independently drive project execution, enhance client and authority relationships, and own commercial closure — from planning through billing. We're looking for someone with a strong track record from a reputed EPC/infrastructure organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, execute, and monitor ROB/RUB project activities to meet quality, cost, and schedule targets
- Provide hands-on technical oversight of RE (Reinforced Earth) panel installation and RE wall construction, including sequencing, quality checks, and troubleshooting
- Own project planning and scheduling
- Manage day-to-day interface with site authorities — lead progress reviews, resolve site issues, and maintain strong working relationships
- Prepare and process client billing (RA bills, measurement sheets, certifications, variation/claim documentation) and coordinate for timely approvals and payments
- Manage project budget, cost control, and profitability tracking against the estimate
- Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams (planning, quality, safety, stores, surveys) to keep the project on track
- Lead contract administration — understand contract conditions, manage variations/claims, and ensure compliance with contractual obligations
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality systems, and statutory/regulatory requirements on site
- Mentor and manage site engineering staff/team; build a strong site organization
- Report project status, risks, and financials to senior management
Requirements
- 8–12 years of experience in infrastructure/bridge/highway construction, with demonstrated hands-on experience in RE panels and RE walls
- Prior experience managing ROB/RUB, flyover, or similar highway/bridge projects end-to-end, ideally with a Tier-1 EPC contractor
- Proven experience handling client billing, RA bills, and commercial/contract documentation
- Experience managing project budgets and cost control (P&L exposure preferred)
- Working knowledge of planning/scheduling tools (Primavera P6 or MS Project)
- Familiarity with quality systems (ISO 9001) and safety management systems
- Degree in Civil Engineering (Diploma with strong relevant experience also considered); PMP or equivalent PM certification is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor site teams
- Willingness to be based on-site in Nagpur
- Strong command of MS Office/Excel; familiarity with ERP/billing software (SAP, etc.) is a plus
