Construction Partners Inc., a publicly traded highway infrastructure company, is seeking a Summer Intern – Data Analytics to join their team in Raleigh, NC. As an intern, you will develop an understanding of how data analytics inform operational and strategic decisions in the construction industry. This is an exciting opportunity to gain exposure to the full construction lifecycle, with an emphasis on hot mix asphalt!
This Summer Intern position will report to the Data Analyst.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the development and maintenance of operational reports and dashboards
- Analyze datasets to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement
- Contribute to the development of an internal operations platform
- Work with low-code/no-code tools alongside Python and TypeScript to build and enhance functionality
- Partner with the Operations Data Analyst on day-to-day development tasks and improvements
- Participate in monthly hot mix asphalt plant calls, capturing key insights and best practices
- Assist with day-to-day analytical and operational tasks as needed
Requirements:
- Must be pursuing a degree at an accredited college or university (minimum one year of completed coursework preferred).
- Knowledge of tools such as Power BI, Python and Typescript preferred.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving ability
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in-office five days per week
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment.
