Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Construction Manager to oversee all aspects of site execution for our infrastructure/industrial projects. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience with a premier construction company in India.
This is a key leadership role at the site, responsible for ensuring timely, safe, and quality completion of construction activities in line with project specifications and schedules.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the day-to-day site execution of civil, space frame structure, and/or industrial construction works.
- Ensure work is executed in compliance with project drawings, technical specifications, and safety standards and meeting the production target.
- Coordinate and supervise contractors, subcontractors, engineers, and site teams to ensure site activities progress as per the agreed plan.
- Review construction plans, method statements, and resource plans to ensure feasibility and efficiency.
- Maintain strong site discipline, resolve technical/site issues, and drive productivity.
- Prepare and submit daily/weekly progress reports to the MET Head Project.
- Ensure billings happens site and collection well as well.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical and Structural Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 7-10 years of experience in construction management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Prior experience with reputed Indian construction firms such as L&T, Tata Projects, GMR etc..)
- Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills.
Summary:
· Ensure efficient use of Man, Machine, Material, Method and Money.
· Ensure Material handling systems (hydra, cranes, etc..) used in most efficient manner without cost overrun.
· Manage project contract as per agreed legal term.
