Role Description The Construction Manager will oversee and coordinate on-site construction activities for projects in North Goa to ensure safe, timely, and cost-effective delivery. This full-time, on-site role includes supervising contractors and site teams, monitoring progress against plans, and enforcing construction safety standards and quality requirements. The individual will manage budgets, support project controls, track schedules, and report regularly on project status to stakeholders. Daily responsibilities also include resolving on-site issues, coordinating with design and commercial teams, and ensuring compliance with local regulations and Gleeds’ policies. The Construction Manager will contribute to continuous improvement, fostering collaboration and clear communication across all project participants.
Qualifications
- Strong supervisory skills to lead on-site teams, coordinate contractors, and manage daily construction activities.
- Knowledge of construction safety practices and regulations to maintain a safe work environment and promote a safety-first culture.
- Proven experience in construction and project control, including scheduling, progress tracking, and risk management.
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field.
- 12 to 15 years experience managing end to end delivery of hotel projects.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications, and work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with proficiency in relevant project management and construction software.
