Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented Construction Estimator to join our team at Ahmedabad location. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates by analyzing construction drawings, specifications, and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Review project plans, drawings, and specifications to understand scope of work
• Perform quantity take-offs using estimation tools
• Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for construction projects
• Analyse labour, material, and equipment costs
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients for clarifications
• Identify potential risks, cost-saving opportunities, and value engineering options
• Maintain updated cost databases and historical data for reference
• Prepare bid proposals and support tender submissions
• Ensure estimates are completed within deadlines and meet client requirements
• Review subcontractor quotations and compare pricing

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
• 1–3 years of experience in construction estimating (preferably US projects)
• Hands-on experience in quantity take-offs using PlanSwift, Bluebeam, or similar tools like On-Screen Takeoff
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and cost structures
• Proficiency in MS Excel for data analysis and reporting
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and coordination abilities
