Head of Design

As the Head of Design, you will be responsible for leading the design team and driving the overall design strategy for Constellation Automotive Group Tech Hub. You will work closely with the product and engineering teams to ensure that the products we build not only meet the needs of our customers but also deliver an exceptional user experience. Key Responsibilities: - Lead and manage a team of talented designers, providing mentorship and guidance to help them grow and develop their skills. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and execute the design vision for our products. - Oversee the design process, from concept to final delivery, ensuring that design solutions are aligned with the business objectives and user needs. - Continuously research and stay up-to-date with the latest design trends, technologies, and best practices to inform and improve our design approach. - Advocate for design within the organization and ensure that design is integrated into the decision-making process. - Develop and maintain design systems, guidelines, and processes to ensure consistency and scalability across our product portfolio. - Measure and report on the impact of design initiatives, using data-driven insights to optimize the design process and outcomes. Required Skills and Experience: - Extensive experience (at least 8 years) in a senior design leadership role, preferably in a technology or SaaS company. - Strong portfolio demonstrating a track record of designing and delivering high-quality, user-centric products. - Expertise in leading and managing design teams, including hiring, mentoring, and performance management. - Solid understanding of design principles, user experience methodologies, and design trends. - Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams. - Experience in defining and implementing design systems and design processes. - Familiarity with design tools and software, such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, etc. - Degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field is preferred.
