Intern, Data Analyst

Interested in joining one of Canada’s largest private asset managers ? We are looking for a Data Analyst (Intern) for a summer internship starting May 2025 to join our Data & Insights Team. As a Data Analyst , you will play a crucial role in maintaining and updating our CRM database (Salesforce) with accurate and timely information. Your attention to detail and ability to work efficiently will contribute to the smooth operation of our organization . Our offices currently operate on a hybrid model with a combination of in office and remote working days throughout the week.

What You Will Do

• Monitor and maintain data quality within Salesforce, ensuring accurate, complete, and up-to-date records across different objects (e.g., accounts, contacts, opportunities).
• Verify and cross-check data for errors or inconsistencies.
• Analyze Salesforce data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for optimization, and communicate findings to senior analysts or managers. Ensure data integrity and security.
• Support the Manager to work with sales, marketing, and operations teams to understand their data needs and provide actionable reports.
• Help document processes for reporting and data management within Salesforce, and support initiatives for continuous improvement in data handling and analytics.
  
  

What You Will Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Business, Information Technology, or a related discipline (or equivalent work experience).
• Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM platforms (experience with Salesforce is a plus).
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel including functions, formulas, and data visualization tools.
• Ability to interpret and analyze data to make business recommendations.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present data insights clearly and concisely.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Willingness to learn new tools, technologies, and industry best practices.
