Job Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced International Sales Manager to join our team.
The candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth and expanding market presence for our Rice
vertical in international markets. The role involves identifying new international business opportunities,
fostering partnerships, and ensuring the company's rice products meet customer demands and expectations
in various regions.
Responsibilities and Duties:
• Develop and execute international sales strategies for rice products to expand market share across
global regions.
• Identify and target new business opportunities and build relationships with potential clients in key
international markets.
• Manage existing relationships with international clients and distributors, ensuring customer
satisfaction and retention.
• Analyze global market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to adapt sales strategies
accordingly.
• Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions with international clients to close deals and achieve sales
targets.
• Coordinate with the marketing and supply chain teams to ensure timely delivery and availability of
rice products in global markets.
• Provide regular sales forecasts and reports to senior management, including detailed insights on
market conditions and sales performance.
• Attend international trade shows, conferences, and meetings to promote the company’s rice
products and increase brand visibility.
• Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, tariffs, and legal requirements related to rice
exports.
Qualifications & Skills:
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, International Relations, or a related field. A
Master’s degree is a plus.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in international sales, preferably in the agriculture or food industry.
• Strong knowledge of the rice market and international trade practices.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
• Ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with clients and partners across different
cultures.
• Willingness to travel internationally as required.
• Knowledge of a foreign language will be an added advantage.
• Previous experience in managing sales teams or working with distributors in international markets.
• Familiarity with logistics, supply chain management, and regulatory compliance in global trade.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
