Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Connection Design Engineer, based in Chennai. The Connection Design Engineer will be responsible for designing and analyzing connections for structural steel projects in compliance with project specifications and engineering standards. Other responsibilities include using design software for creating detailed engineering models, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the successful execution of design deliverables within set timelines.
Qualifications
- Hands-on expertise with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software and Mathcad
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, or related field, is required
- Familiarity with structural steel codes and standards is a plus
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
