Job Title: Conform Artist (Colour & VFX Roundtrip)
Salary Range - 8000-12000rs Per Project
About Us
We are a professional colour studio working across film, OTT, and commercial productions. We deliver high-end colour work and are growing our team to handle increased project volume. We take pride in clean pipelines, precise deliveries, and collaborative workflow
About the Role
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Conform Artist to join our colour suite. You will own the technical pipeline — managing project conform, VFX roundtrips, and final delivery — so our lead colourist can focus entirely on the creative grade. This is a critical role that requires precision, strong Resolve knowledge, and the ability to communicate effectively with VFX studios.
Key Responsibilities
Conform projects from editorial (Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Avid) into DaVinci Resolve using XML, EDL, and AAF workflows
Manage media relinking, proxy workflows, and timeline organisation in Resolve
Handle the full VFX roundtrip pipeline — generating pull lists, exporting plates with correct handles, frame ranges, and colour space metadata for VFX vendors
Relink and integrate returned VFX finals into the Resolve timeline without disturbing existing grades
Verify all VFX deliveries for frame accuracy, resolution, colour space, and shot integrity before handoff to the colourist
Tag and manage colour spaces correctly for mixed media timelines (RAW, EXR, DPX, ProRes)
Prepare and manage final deliveries for broadcast, OTT, and cinema pipelines
Maintain organised, clean project structures and clear version control throughout production
Requirements
Minimum 2–4 years of hands-on conform experience in a professional post-production or colour studio
Deep working knowledge of DaVinci Resolve — Cut, Edit, and Colour pages
Solid experience with XML, EDL, and AAF conform workflows from major NLEs
Proven experience handling VFX roundtrips — sending plates out and relinking finals back into a live grading session
Strong understanding of colour spaces, LUTs, and Resolve Colour Management (RCM)
Familiarity with professional camera formats — ARRI, RED, Sony, Blackmagic
Knowledge of delivery formats and codec requirements for OTT, broadcast, and DCP
Sharp eye for catching mismatches — frame count, timecode, resolution, handles
Ability to work under deadline pressure with minimal supervision
Good to Have
Blackmagic Design Certified Colorist or Editor certification
Basic knowledge of Resolve's Fusion page for simple in-house VFX fixes
Experience working directly with VFX studios or vendors
Understanding of DI (Digital Intermediate) pipeline
What We Offer
Work on real film, OTT, and commercial productions
Collaborative environment with an experienced lead colourist
Opportunity to grow within a professional colour studio
Exposure to high-end post-production workflows
