Software Engineer, Platform

We're looking for Software Engineers to join our growing Platform team. You'll work alongside some of the top minds in distributed systems to build the core components of Confluent Platform and Apache Kafka®. Your work will touch a wide range of technologies, from low-level storage and networking to higher-level distributed primitives, APIs and frameworks. If you're passionate about designing and building large-scale distributed systems, this is an exciting opportunity to work on a project that is transforming the way enterprises think about data. We're looking for engineers who have a strong background in Java or Scala, and experience designing and implementing highly scalable, reliable, and performant distributed systems. You should be comfortable working across the stack, from low-level networking and storage to high-level APIs and frameworks.
