Role Description
This is an on-site contract role for a Configuration Management Database (CMDB) Developer, based in Hyderabad. The CMDB Developer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the CMDB to support configuration management processes. Daily tasks include mapping and integrating IT systems, ensuring data accuracy, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams for effective IT service management. The role also involves implementing automation to improve system efficiency.
Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in Configuration Management Database (CMDB) development and implementation
- Experience in IT service management tools and practices, such as ITIL or similar frameworks
- Knowledge of software development, debugging, and troubleshooting methodologies
- Proficiency in scripting and automation tools to enhance CMDB functionality
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and database management systems is a plus
