The role of the Laundry Supervisor is to assist the Director of Housekeeping oversee the Laundry Department. Laundry Supervisor with experience in a long-term care facility, hospital, or healthcare setting preferred.

Laundry Supervisor Key Duties

Ensure needed laundry supplies and equipment are available.
Oversee the collecting and sorting soiled linen. Loading, unloading machines, and folding clean linen.
Oversee clean, fold, and deliver personal clothing to the residents.
Operate commercial laundry and cleaning equipment to provide fresh clean linens.
Perform other job-related duties as they become required.

Laundry Supervisor Qualifications

High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
Environmental Services or housekeeping Management experience.
Prior experience working in a nursing home, hospital or healthcare environment a plus.
