Required Education and Experience - Develop and implement quality management systems and procedures in alignment with company and regulatory standards (e.g., ISO Quality Management Systems).
- Monitor and evaluate quality control processes, conduct internal audits, and support external audit activities.
- Inspect products and services at various stages to ensure compliance with established standards and customer expectations.
- Analyze quality data using statistical process control (SPC) and other tools to identify trends, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities.
- Investigate customer complaints, determine root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, and suppliers, to resolve quality issues and maintain compliance.
- Train, mentor, and lead staff on quality standards, best practices, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain accurate and complete quality documentation to support audits, certifications, and regulatory requirements.
HS Diploma/GED AA/AS BA/BS MBA/MS PHD Associate’s degree or higher in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related technical field. - Minimum of three (3) years of experience in quality assurance within a manufacturing and/or distribution environment.
Additional Qualifications - Hands-on experience applying quality principles and methodologies.
- Experience with statistical process control and data analysis.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality systems.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven leadership ability with a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
- Self-motivated with strong organizational skills.
Supervisory Responsibilities - Manage and develop assigned staff in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.
- Lead team to meet or exceed service-level agreements (SLAs).
- Participate in interviewing, hiring, training, and onboarding of employees.
- Assign and direct daily work, conduct performance evaluations, and provide coaching and discipline as needed.
- Serve as escalation point for issue resolution and employee concerns.
Work Environment - Primarily operates in a warehouse environment.
- Requires flexibility to adapt between warehouse floor activities and administrative tasks.
- Regular use of office equipment, tablets, scanners, and related tools.
Physical Demands - Regularly required to stand, walk, talk, and hear.
- Frequent use of hands to handle products and equipment.
- Must occasionally lift and move up to 30 pounds.
- Requires ability to see close, distant, and peripheral, as well as adjust focus.
Travel - No travel is expected for this position.
