Role Description The Concurrent Auditor is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Delhi Area, responsible for ongoing review of clinical, administrative, and financial processes to ensure accuracy, compliance, and quality of care. This role involves conducting real-time audits of patient records, billing, and documentation, verifying adherence to internal protocols, regulatory standards, and ethical guidelines. The Concurrent Auditor will collaborate closely with medical, nursing, administrative, and finance teams to identify gaps, recommend corrective actions, and support implementation of process improvements. Daily tasks include preparing audit reports, tracking follow-up actions, analyzing trends, and contributing to risk mitigation and internal control strengthening. The role also supports training and awareness initiatives related to compliance, documentation standards, and quality assurance across the hospital network.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of healthcare auditing, internal controls, and compliance standards, preferably in a hospital or clinical setting.
- Proficiency in reviewing medical records, billing documentation, and patient information for accuracy, completeness, and regulatory adherence.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret data, identify patterns, and recommend practical process improvements.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with multidisciplinary teams and present clear, concise audit findings.
- Attention to detail, high ethical standards, and a commitment to patient-centered, non-discriminatory care.
- Comfort with hospital information systems, electronic medical records, and basic data analysis tools (e.g., spreadsheets, reporting software).
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Healthcare Administration, or a related field; professional certifications in auditing or healthcare quality are an advantage.
- Prior experience in concurrent or internal auditing, revenue cycle management, or healthcare quality assurance is highly desirable.
