Job details:
We are seeking talented computer science graduates to develop computer vision algorithms, system architectures, and ground control station software for UAV platforms. You will optimize vision algorithms for low SWaP (Size, Weight, and Power) constraints on airborne microcomputers and embedded systems.
Key Responsibilities:
● Develop and optimize computer vision algorithms for UAV reconnaissance and surveillance applications.
● Design and implement custom ground control station (GCS) software for real-time camera feed visualization.
● Implement telemetry-based command and control functionality for remote sensor operation.
● Optimize deep learning models for deployment on embedded platforms with strict computational power
constraints.
● Architect communication protocols and data pipelines for real-time aerial video transmission.
● Develop user interfaces for mission planning, sensor control, and live video analysis.
● Profile and benchmark algorithm performance on edge computing hardware.
● Collaborate with payload integration and firmware teams for end-to-end system deployment.
Required Skills:
● Proficiency in Python and C/C++ for algorithm development and optimization.
● Strong experience with OpenCV and NumPy for image processing and numerical computation.
● Knowledge of machine learning and deep learning techniques for computer vision tasks.
● Experience developing GUI applications for real-time data visualization and control.
● Understanding of networking protocols, telemetry systems, and serial communication.
● Ability to optimize code for real-time video streaming and processing.
● Familiarity with multi-threaded programming and asynchronous data handling.
● Strong debugging and performance profiling skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science / Electronics & Communication Engineering.
