Role Description
This is a remote contract role for a Computer Vision Software Engineer. In this role, you will develop, implement, and optimize computer vision algorithms for various manufacturing applications. Key responsibilities include designing and testing vision-based automation systems, processing image and video data for pattern recognition, and collaborating with robotics teams to integrate intelligent functionalities. You will also contribute to the research and improvement of the RoboLeanX platform while ensuring efficiency in manufacturing environments.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition
- Experience with using vision frameworks like OpenCV, Pytorch, Keras etc.
- Solid background in Computer Science and Data Science principles
- Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in computer vision and robotics (e.g., Python, C++, TensorFlow, or PyTorch)
- Experience with vision models like YOLO, RetinaNet, DINO
- A degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- Preferred qualifications include: understanding of manufacturing processes and experience with cloud-based AI solutions
