Job Description: Computer Vision Engineer (Intern)
Location: Mumbai, India (On-site)
Overview
We are looking for a Computer Vision Intern to join the Noos AI team. You will be responsible for developing vision- and sensor-based algorithms used in both robotic simulations and physical systems, which will be critical to the development of robotics here in Noos AI. From working with advanced depth cameras and a variety of sensors to building robust vision pipelines, you will play a key role in improving and establishing the perception pipelines and systems for our robotics and AI ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities
- Design and deploy object detection and identification systems using OpenCV, YOLO and other CV libraries.
- Work extensively with Depth and Stereo cameras (Intel RealSense, Luxonis OAK).
- Develop, optimize, and assemble vision pipelines in Python or C++.
- Perform camera calibration, image preprocessing, and sensor fusion, along with diagnostic analysis of cameras.
- Understand and operate robotic systems and vision pipelines in Linux/Unix-based environments.
- Collaborate with the robotics/AI team to integrate vision systems into broader product workflows.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- System Design: Design and deploy object vision systems using OpenCV and other CV libraries.
- Integral Frameworks: Experience with frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow.
- Hardware Integration: Hands-on experience with 3D/Depth cameras and an understanding of spatial sensing of environments.
- Development: High proficiency in Python or C++ for developing image processing pipelines.
- Linux/Embedded Systems: Proficiency in Linux (Ubuntu) environments and comfort with Git for version control.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with ROS2 basics for interfacing with robots.
- Previous experience with robotics using simulation or physical systems.
- Previous experience in a startup environment.
