We're Hiring Perception Engineering Intern — 6 Months | Drishium AI
We're looking for someone who's serious about computer vision — not just running models, but understanding them.
At Drishium AI, we're building perception systems for real-world industrial environments. This is a hands-on role where you'll go deep into detection, segmentation, pose estimation, and model optimization — and ship things that actually work in production.
What You'll Gain
- Work on live industrial perception problems that open-source benchmarks don't prepare you for
- Go deep into model internals — modify architectures, tune loss functions, adapt models to real production constraints
- Build and deploy models trained on proprietary industrial data, not just downloaded weights
- Compress and optimize models for real edge hardware with actual latency budgets
- Own the full pipeline — from raw data to deployment. You'll ship something real
What You'll Work On
- Train and fine-tune object detection, segmentation, and classification models on custom industrial datasets
- Build keypoint extraction pipelines for pose and landmark detection in domain-specific scenarios
- Apply quantization and pruning to meet real edge deployment constraints
- Export and optimize models for target hardware and benchmark real inference latency
- Build clean, reproducible training pipelines with proper dataset management
What We're Looking For
Must Have
- Strong Python and PyTorch skills
- Experience with object detection — custom training, config tuning, debugging, not just inference
- Hands-on with at least one segmentation or pose estimation model
- Understanding of core metrics: mAP, IoU, PCK, mIoU, precision and recall
- Exposure to model compression — quantization or pruning
Good to Have
- Experience with transformer-based vision architectures
- Tracking pipeline experience
- Knowledge of any major detection or pose framework internals
- Prior work with industrial or domain-specific datasets
Qualifications
- Pursuing B.Tech / M.Tech / MS in CS, ECE, or related field
- GitHub with real training history — not just inference notebooks
- Available for a 6-month full-time internship based out of Noida (India)
