3D Computer Vision (Body Measurement System)About Us
We’re building a next-generation custom apparel platform focused on Indian wear . Our goal is to eliminate the need for in-person tailoring by combining a proprietary measurement system with 3D modeling and standardized garment production.
Role Overview
We’re hiring a Computer Vision / 3D Reconstruction Engineer to build the core measurement engine.
You will own the pipeline that converts multi-view images into real-world measurements and usable 3D body representations. This is the core IP of the company.
What You’ll Build
- Multi-view image processing pipeline (front/back/side inputs)
- Calibration & perspective correction (QR / reference markers)
- Marker & grid detection (OpenCV / classical CV)
- Landmark extraction (shoulders, apex, waist, etc.)
- Measurement computation (circumference, distances, posture)
- Basic 3D reconstruction or geometry approximation
- Clean data output for:
- 3D avatar generation
- Garment pattern systems
Required Skills
- Strong foundation in Computer Vision + Geometry
- Hands-on experience with:
- Python
- OpenCV
- NumPy
- Experience in at least one:
- 3D reconstruction / photogrammetry
- AR/VR / Unity / Three.js pipelines
- Camera calibration / multi-view geometry
- Comfortable working with:
- Image processing pipelines
- Real-world noisy data
- 3D formats (.obj, .glb, etc.)
Good to Have
- MediaPipe / pose estimation experience
- Open3D / COLMAP / Meshroom
- SMPL or parametric human body models
- Blender scripting / 3D pipelines
- Startup or 0→1 build experience
What We’re Looking For
- Builder mindset — ships, tests, iterates fast
- Strong problem-solving (not just model training)
- Comfortable with ambiguity and early-stage systems
- Able to think in geometry + systems, not just ML
What You’ll NOT Be Doing
- No generic web development
- No pure research role
- No “train a model and wait” work
This is an execution-heavy, real-world engineering role.
Compensation
- ₹12L – ₹15L (based on experience)
- Meaningful equity (founding-level upside)
