Role Description
· Functional Competencies

· Proficient in Python, object-oriented programming, modular code design
· Familiarity with microservices, RESTful APIs, JavaScript, TypeScript, C#.
· Understanding of version control (Git), CI/CD, automated testing, and deployment workflows.
· Experience with supervised/unsupervised learning, deep learning, time-series modeling, predictive maintenance, predictive quality, forecasting
· Use of scikit-learn, XGBoost, TensorFlow, PyTorch.
· Experience with model deployment, monitoring, and MLOps.
· Data pipeline development (Spark, Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Microsoft Fabric).
· Orchestration frameworks (Airflow, Prefect, Luigi).
· SQL proficiency, data modeling, ETL, data quality management.
· Cloud experience (Azure ML, Azure Storage/ADLS, Azure Functions, Azure DevOps).
· Containerization (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes), infrastructure-as-code (Terraform).
· Monitoring and visualization (Grafana, Power BI, OpenTelemetry, Azure Monitor / Log analytics)
· IoT
o Deploy AI models on edge for real-time inference e.g. Jetson
o time-series analytics
o IoT tools including Azure IoT Edge, Ignition, Scada, OPC UA, MQTT, Kafka
o Vision analytics, CNNs, ViTs, TensorFlow, PyTourch, OvenCV
· Generative AI
o Working with LLMs (e.g., GPT, LLaMA, Claude)
o Prompt engineering
o Experience with GenAI tools like OpenAI API, LangChain, AI Foundry
o Knowledge of vector databases, indexes, RAG, multimodal indexing
o Familiarity with semantic search and embeddings
