Antrino Labs is a company dedicated to solving a critical societal challenge: increasing safety in everyday environments. Our main focus is the development of an advanced computer vision system capable of detecting suspicious events via CCTV surveillance cameras, initially to prevent loss in grocery stores. We are scaling fast, and expanding into the Nordic markets and soon to be opening an office in Bangalore. Now, we’re looking for a computer vision engineer with video classification experience to help us take our platform to the next level.
About the role
You'll report directly to the CTO, playing an important role in shaping the technical strategies that will propel Preventai to market leadership. In this high-impact role, you’ll work directly with large-scale video data to build computer vision features that power our next architecture for real-time theft detection. We thrive in a dynamic startup environment that values flexibility and initiative. You'll join a close-knit, supportive team where we genuinely look out for one another and understand the importance of work-life integration.
What you will be doing
- Build and optimize real-time computer vision pipelines that fuse perception and reasoning.
- Be responsible for setting up training pipelines using our own compute clusters.
- Continuously optimize performance via fine-tuning of VLMs and Video classification models.
- Train and fine-tune Vision-Language Models with reinforcement learning and preference optimization to improve decision-making accuracy.
- Rapidly integrate state-of-the-art AI architectures from the latest research and benchmark them in production environments.
- Run performance benchmarks on high-end GPUs (e.g., RTX A6000) and optimize inference for real-world conditions.
Who you are
For us it is important that you have a strong drive in taking your own initiatives to further progress the system towards becoming better, running tests and optimizing existing routines is second nature for the person we are looking for. You are also optimistic about solving hard problems and you get energy from brainstorming sessions where your best friend is the whiteboard (or Miro ^^).
- Deep understanding of AI/ML model training and real-time inference optimization.
- Experience working with Vision-Language Models, reinforcement learning, or other advanced multimodal AI techniques.
- Skilled at translating research into robust, scalable production systems.
- Passionate about solving challenging technical problems and comfortable owning projects end-to-end.
- Able to join the team on short notice.
