Role Description The Computer Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering computer and IT lessons to students from Standard 1 to 10 in alignment with ICSE, CBSE, and WB curriculum. Day-to-day tasks include preparing lesson plans, teaching theoretical and practical computer concepts, supervising computer lab sessions, and assessing student performance through tests and assignments. The role involves providing individual guidance, maintaining a disciplined and safe classroom and lab environment, and collaborating with other faculty members to support holistic academic development. The Computer Teacher will also contribute to spoken English and digital skills development when required and participate in parent-teacher interactions and counseling sessions. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Pandabeswar.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Computer Science and Programming, with the ability to teach basic to advanced computer skills.
- Effective Communication skills for explaining complex concepts clearly to learners of different age groups.
- Experience in Teaching, with a student-centered approach and familiarity with school-level pedagogy.
- Ability in Curriculum Development, including designing lesson plans, projects, and assessments aligned with board requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; a B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification is preferred.
- Prior experience teaching school students or coaching center learners is highly beneficial.
- Comfort with using educational technology tools, learning management systems, and multimedia teaching aids.
- Strong classroom management skills, patience, and a commitment to a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
