Role Description The Computer Specialist role is a full time On-site position based in Davangere.
Responsibilities include supporting software and hardware systems, performing routine maintenance, and assisting with troubleshooting and resolving technical issues. The role involves collaborating with internal teams to implement automation and AI tools, providing basic training and guidance to colleagues on technology use, and documenting processes for future reference. The Computer Specialist may also help with system improvements, testing new tools, and ensuring that computer resources are secure, up to date, and aligned with business needs.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess Machining related skills or experience working with computer controlled equipment and technology enabled tools.
- Candidates should possess Teaching or training skills to guide team members in using software, systems, and AI tools effectively.
- Additional beneficial qualifications include familiarity with computer hardware and networking, basic cybersecurity awareness, and experience in technical support or IT helpdesk roles.
- A diploma or degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred, along with strong problem solving abilities and clear communication skills.
