Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and qualified Computer Science Teacher to join our dynamic academic team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping the technical and analytical abilities of students by delivering engaging, curriculum-aligned instruction in computer science fundaamentals. This role involves designing and delivering lesson plans, fostering critical thinking through hands-on coding and problem-solving activities, and integrating modern technologies into the classroom. The teacher will also support student development through mentorship, project-based learning, and continuous assessment. With a strong foundation in computer science theory and practical application, the successful candidate will contribute to building a future-ready learning environment that prepares students for higher education and careers in technology. This position is essential in advancing digital literacy and innovation within our institution.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver comprehensive lesson plans aligned with the national curriculum (e.g., CBSE, ICSE, or state board) for classes 9–12.
- Teach core computer science topics including programming (Python, Java, or C++), data structures, algorithms, computer networks, database management, and computer fundamentals.
- Utilize interactive teaching methods such as coding labs, project-based learning, and real-world case studies to enhance student engagement.
- Design and evaluate assessments, assignments, and practical exams to monitor student progress and ensure academic excellence.
- Provide individualized support and mentorship to students, especially in competitive exam preparation (e.g., JEE, NEET, or board exams).
- Maintain accurate student records and report progress to parents and academic coordinators.
- Stay updated with emerging trends in computer science education and integrate relevant tools and technologies into teaching practices.
- Collaborate with the academic team to develop interdisciplinary projects and technology integration initiatives.
- Participate in faculty meetings, workshops, and professional development programs to enhance teaching effectiveness.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) or Master of Computer Applications (MCA) with a strong academic record.
- Minimum 3–5 years of teaching experience in computer science at the secondary or senior secondary level.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++ and familiarity with database systems (e.g., SQL).
- Strong understanding of computer science curriculum frameworks (CBSE, ICSE, or state board).
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to create engaging, student-centered learning experiences using digital tools and classroom technology.
- Demonstrated ability to manage diverse learning needs and foster an inclusive classroom environment.
- Willingness to participate in extracurricular activities, coding clubs, and STEM events.
