Role Description The Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Programmer will be responsible for developing and optimizing CNC programs for machining valve components to precise specifications. Day-to-day tasks include reading and interpreting technical drawings, creating and modifying CNC programs, selecting appropriate tools and cutting parameters, and coordinating with machine operators to ensure accurate setup and efficient production. The role involves monitoring machining processes, troubleshooting programming or tooling issues, and implementing continuous improvements in cycle time, quality, and safety. The CNC Programmer will collaborate closely with engineering and quality teams to maintain adherence to industry standards and internal quality requirements. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Karnataka, India.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in CNC Programming and Programming for multi-axis machining centers and related equipment.
- Proficiency in Machining and Milling operations, including tooling selection, feeds and speeds, and process optimization.
- Ability to read and interpret Technical Drawing and engineering documentation, including GD&T and tolerances.
- Experience with CNC controllers and CAM software (e.g., Fanuc, Siemens, Heidenhain, or equivalent) is highly beneficial.
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, or a related discipline preferred.
- Previous experience in valve manufacturing, precision components, or heavy engineering is an advantage.
- Attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and commitment to safety and quality standards.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and communicate clearly in a production environment.
