Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Programmer based in Khed. The CNC Programmer will develop, test, and optimize CNC programs for machining components used in fire protection equipment, ensuring precision, efficiency, and adherence to technical specifications. Day-to-day responsibilities include interpreting technical drawings, selecting appropriate tools and machining parameters, setting up CNC milling and machining operations, and troubleshooting programming and process issues. The role involves close collaboration with design, production, and quality teams to resolve manufacturing challenges, improve cycle times, and maintain high standards of safety and reliability. The CNC Programmer will also be responsible for maintaining documentation, following established workflows, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives on the shop floor.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Technical Drawing and the ability to accurately interpret engineering blueprints and specifications.
- Candidates should possess solid CNC Programming and Programming skills for creating, modifying, and optimizing machining programs.
- Candidates should possess hands-on Machining and Milling skills, including experience with CNC machine setup, operation, and basic troubleshooting.
- Candidates should ideally have knowledge of machining materials, cutting tools, and quality inspection techniques.
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, Production Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Relevant experience in CNC programming within heavy engineering, fabrication, or equipment manufacturing environments is beneficial.
- Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced production setting, follow safety protocols, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with CAD/CAM software or CNC programming interfaces are advantageous.
