Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role in Kolkata for a Laptop & Computer Field Support Engineer. The candidate will be responsible for visiting customer locations to diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain laptops, desktops, printers, and related IT hardware. Daily tasks include hardware installation, operating system support, component replacement, networking basics, and providing technical assistance to clients. The role requires strong technical skills, professional behavior, and the ability to resolve issues efficiently in field environments.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Laptop and Computer Hardware
- Basic knowledge of Networking and Printer Support
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot hardware/software issues
- Good communication and customer handling skills
- Ability to work independently for on-site field visits
- Experience in Laptop/Desktop repair and IT support is preferred
- Diploma, ITI, or Bachelor's degree in Computer Hardware, Electronics, or related field
