Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and creative Senior Jewellery CAD Leader to oversee and manage the CAD design team. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in jewellery CAD designing, team leadership, and production coordination for any technical issue. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring high-quality CAD outputs, timely project delivery, and mentoring junior designers.
Key Responsibilities:
· Lead and manage a team of 4–5 Jewellery CAD Designers.
· Create and review high-quality CAD models for diamond, gold, and custom jewellery.
· Ensure all CAD designs meet production, technical, and quality standards.
· Coordinate with the design and production teams for smooth workflow.
· Guide and mentor junior CAD designers to improve productivity and design quality.
· Handle complex and customized jewellery CAD projects independently.
· Maintain project timelines and ensure timely delivery of CAD files.
· Optimize CAD workflows and implement best practices within the team.
· Conduct quality checks before sending files for CAM/production.
· Stay updated with current jewellery trends, technologies, and CAD software advancements.
Required Skills:
· Strong knowledge of jewellery manufacturing processes.
· Expertise in CAD software such as Rhino, Matrix or similar tools.
· Excellent leadership and team management skills.
· Strong understanding of stone setting, casting, and production feasibility.
· Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
· Good communication and problem-solving skills.
· Attention to detail and creative design sense.
Qualifications:
· Diploma/Degree in Jewellery Design or related field.
· Certification in CAD designing preferred.
