Role Description This full-time Computer Aided Design (CAD) Drafter role is a hybrid position based in Hyderabad, with a mix of in-office and work-from-home flexibility. The CAD Drafter will prepare detailed technical and architectural drawings for residential projects, including floor plans, elevations, sections, and joinery details. Day-to-day responsibilities include translating design concepts into accurate CAD drawings, updating plans based on design revisions, and ensuring drawings meet project standards and local regulations. The role involves coordinating with designers, architects, and project managers to align drawings with design intent and site conditions, as well as maintaining organized drawing files and documentation. The CAD Drafter will support the design and execution teams by providing timely, precise drawings that help deliver well-managed and high-quality interior projects.
Qualifications
- Strong technical drawing skills, including Technical Drawing and Engineering Drawings, with the ability to interpret and produce clear, detailed plans.
- Experience creating Residential and Architectural Drawings that reflect design intent, functional requirements, and construction feasibility.
- Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools and software, with the ability to produce accurate 2D and 3D drawings and revise them efficiently.
- Attention to detail, spatial understanding, and the ability to follow design guidelines, building codes, and project standards.
- Diploma or degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Previous experience in residential interiors, architecture, or construction documentation is an advantage.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional design and project teams.
- Ability to manage multiple drawing tasks, meet deadlines, and work in a hybrid environment based in Hyderabad.
