Role Description The Computer Aided Design (CAD) Drafter will produce detailed technical drawings and 3D models for belt grinding and polishing machines and related components. This full-time, on-site role in Faridabad involves interpreting design concepts, engineering requirements, and customer specifications to create accurate CAD layouts, assembly drawings, and part drawings. The CAD Drafter will collaborate closely with engineering, production, and quality teams to update designs, maintain drawing standards, and support continuous improvement of existing products. Daily tasks include revising drawings based on feedback, ensuring documentation accuracy, and preparing drawings and files for manufacturing and installation.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools and software, with the ability to create both 2D and 3D models.
- Proficiency in Technical Drawing and Engineering Drawings, including dimensioning, tolerances, and manufacturing documentation.
- Capability in Drawing and Architectural Drawings related to mechanical layouts, equipment placement, and shop floor arrangements.
- Relevant diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related technical field.
- Understanding of mechanical components, fabrication processes, and machine assembly practices.
- Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple drawing revisions and projects.
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams on-site.
- Experience in machinery or manufacturing environments, especially grinding or polishing systems, is an advantage.
