Job Description
- Collaborative Product Development
- Work closely with product designers to support the development of new watches, accessories, and related products from concept to execution. Contribute actively during design discussions and development stages.
- Technical Drawings & Documentation
- Assist in creating precise technical drawings, including case construction, dial layouts, strap details, and component assemblies. Ensure all drawings meet production and manufacturing standards.
- Preparation of Technical Specifications
- Develop comprehensive technical sheets/specifications covering dimensions, materials, finishes, tolerances, and assembly instructions for watches and accessories.
- CAD Modeling
- Create accurate 2D and 3D CAD models of watch components and assemblies. Ensure designs are optimized for manufacturing processes and align with brand design language.
- Movement Integration Understanding
- Interpret and analyze watch movement technical sheets to ensure correct case fitting, dial alignment, hand clearance, and overall compatibility within the watch design.
- Technical Input & Suggestions
- Proactively suggest improvements related to construction, materials, durability, and manufacturability. Participate in problem-solving during product development cycles.
- Design Feasibility & Coordination
- Work alongside cross-functional teams (design, production, vendors) to ensure feasibility of designs and smooth transition from concept to production.
- Quality & Precision Focus
- Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all technical outputs, ensuring consistency with brand standards and product quality expectations.
- Experience Requirement
- Prior hands-on experience in creating watch technical sheets, CAD modeling, and understanding watch components and movements is essential.
