Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Computer Aided Design Administrator, based in Bengaluru South. The role involves managing and maintaining CAD systems, setting up and administering CAD environments, and supporting end-users by troubleshooting and resolving CAD-related issues. Responsibilities also include developing and implementing best practices for CAD configurations, providing training to end-users, ensuring adherence to design standards, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize design workflows and processes.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in CAD software tools such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA, NX, or similar tools
- Experience in CAD system configuration, administration, and troubleshooting
- Knowledge of engineering design and documentation standards
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to optimize design processes
- Excellent communication skills for providing end-user support and delivering effective training
- Familiarity with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems is a plus
- Relevant education in an engineering discipline or a related field
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities
- Experience in industries such as aerospace, automotive, or healthcare is an added advantage
