Company Description
At Stremly AI, we are building toward the next generation of intelligent systems by combining advances in AI with insights from human cognition and biological intelligence. Our work goes beyond conventional automation—we aim to understand and replicate the principles underlying human learning, reasoning, and adaptability.
We believe that breakthroughs in AGI will come from deeply integrating concepts from neuroscience, systems biology, and computational modeling.
Internship Details
Duration: 2 months
Commitment: Part-time, flexible hours
Compensation: Unpaid
Location: Fully remote
Roles & Responsibilities
- Study and analyze how the human brain processes information—learning, memory, decision-making, and perception—and map these concepts to AI systems.
- Investigate biological systems (cellular signaling, neural circuits, homeostasis, adaptation) to extract principles relevant to intelligent system design.
- Assist in conceptualizing models that bridge biological intelligence and artificial architectures.
- Read and synthesize research papers from neuroscience, cognitive science, and systems biology into actionable insights for AGI development.
- Propose biologically inspired hypotheses and design conceptual or computational experiments to test them.
- Work closely with AI researchers to translate biological understanding into algorithmic or system-level ideas.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of neuroscience, human physiology, or systems biology (especially brain function and neural processes).
- Ability to connect biological mechanisms with computational or AI analogies.
- Comfortable reading academic papers in neuroscience, biology, or cognitive science.
- Strong reasoning skills with the ability to break down complex systems into core principles.
- Deep interest in understanding intelligence from a first-principles perspective.
- Ability to clearly explain biological concepts to a technical (AI-focused) team.
Preferred (Not Mandatory)
- Exposure to computational neuroscience or cognitive modeling
- Basic understanding of machine learning or AI systems
- Familiarity with brain-inspired architectures (e.g., neural coding, plasticity, predictive processing)
Benefits
- Work at the intersection of biology and artificial intelligence.
- Contribute to research exploring core principles of general intelligence.
- Engage with a highly interdisciplinary team.
- Work independently with ownership over your contributions.
- Build a unique profile bridging biology and AI—highly valuable for higher studies and research careers.
- Opportunity to contribute to novel ideas, internal papers, and potentially external publications.
