Job Summary
The Compliance Specialist is part of the team responsible for supporting the Compliance efforts of the Company’s security, IT and product organizations.
The Specialist is responsible for helping the teams prepare for and participates in SOC 2, PCI, ISO and other audits, and they will manage the Compliance mailbox, research and respond to compliance-related inquiries and complete various audit or compliance-related tasks. The Specialist will report results, communicate requirements, and work with subject matter experts to confirm that compliance in place for current and future security and regulatory requirements.
Job Duties
- Assists Compliance team as needed with SOC 2, PCI, ISO27001, and other annual audits and responding to customer requests.
- Monitors central customer request mailbox conducting intake, logging and tracking of inquiries.
- Works with internal subject matter experts to research and respond to inquiries by auditors, federal examiners or external customers.
- Maintains information in a centralized database.
- Contributes to team efforts by completing assigned tasks and performing other ad hoc compliance work as requested.
- Keeps the team and other departments informed as needed.
Skills And Qualifications
- Must be willing to work an alternative schedule to support U.S. based teams
- Strong analytical, coordination and critical thinking skills
- Experience in supporting SOC 2 Type I & Type II, PCI DSS, ISO audits including evidence collection, auditor coordination, ongoing monitoring and annual assessments
- Understanding of information security controls, risk management frameworks - a plus
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
- Ability to manage multiple critical priorities simultaneously
- Highly organized and disciplined with the ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Ability to deliver thorough, prompt and accurate work
- Excellent at building relationships with internal clients and stakeholders
- Good working knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and other MS Office applications, SharePoint experience a plus
