Job Purpose
Regulatory and Internal Policy compliance
Job Responsibilities(JR) :

Core Compliance
- Initial Compliance Review through Task central for all new and amended regulation (existing circular/regulation if not part of cermo database also to be included)
- Ensure CERMO data is update and co-ordinate self-certification reviews
- Regulatory clarifications
- Approval of Policies, Product Notes, Process Notes – ensure regulatory guidelines as per cermo database is incorporated and controls defined to ensure sustenance of compliance)
- Map the control document to every regulation para which will be referred by compliance testing during their review, ensure approval through idreams
- Compliance Risk Assessment
- Ensuring that the Bank is in Compliance with the relevant guidelines issued by various regulators in respect of the assigned functional areas, including Compliance Reviews
- Review new products, procedures, system implementation which will result in all the activities of the bank being compliant with all the regulatory and statutory requirements as also the internal procedures, processes and policies laid down by the Board.
- To carryout Compliance testing as per the approved annual compliance testing plan.
- To provide consultation / timely clarifications on various regulatory matters within the organisation in respect assigned functional areas
· Risk Based Supervision
- Understanding the regulatory requirements under Risk Based Supervision and providing support to the concerned units heads in Compliance.
- Understanding various data points pertaining to RBS submissions.
- Monitor timely and comprehensive actions are taken by respective functions to ensure compliance with the observations in regulatory / statutory inspection reports.
Educational Qualifications

Certifications:
· Financial Risk Manager
- Graduates / Post Graduates / CAs / MBAs with good knowledge of regulatory guidelines having experience in relevant areas.
- Good Communication skills.
Experience Required
· Minimum experience in years – 3 to 5 yrs
· Exposure to banking preferable
Major Stakeholders (intra team and cross functional stakeholders, who would need to be interacted with for discharging duties)
· Regulators
· Senior Management
· Relevant functions across the Bank for the assigned areas of Compliance.
