Our client is a specialized institutional fund administration platform providing end-to-end operational, accounting, and compliance support to Alternative Investment Funds (AIFs), Venture Capital, and Private Equity Funds.
As the business continues to grow globally, they are looking for an experienced Compliance Officer to design, lead, and strengthen their governance and compliance framework across the organization, which is a "Fund Servicing" company. The role is based in Lower Parel ,Mumbai.
Key Responsibilities
✔ Design and strategize the organization's compliance policies, governance framework, training programs, and risk reporting mechanisms.
✔ Lead regulatory compliance across multiple jurisdictions and ensure adherence to global regulatory standards.
✔ Oversee KYC, AML, FATCA, CRS, FATF compliance, sanctions screening, and investor due diligence frameworks.
✔ Drive enterprise risk management, operational controls, and compliance monitoring.
✔ Manage regulatory interactions, audits, inspections, and governance initiatives.
✔ Strengthen internal controls, third-party risk management, and operational risk frameworks.
✔ Partner with senior leadership to foster a strong culture of governance, ethics, compliance, and risk awareness.
We're Looking For
✅ Minimum 8+ years of experience in designing and managing Compliance Frameworks within a Fund Services / Fund Administration environment is a MUST.
✅ Strong working knowledge of AML, FATF, FATCA, CRS, KYC, sanctions screening, and global regulatory compliance frameworks.
✅ Experience in Fund Administration, Asset Management, Alternative Investment Funds (AIFs), Private Equity, Venture Capital, or Financial Services.
✅ Proven experience working with regulators, auditors, and senior business stakeholders.
✅ Strong leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
