The Compliance Manager will be responsible for ensuring statutory, legal, labor law, and regulatory compliance across all business operations of the organization. The role involves managing compliance related to manpower deployment, contractor management, audits, licenses, labor laws, payroll compliance, and client statutory requirements for facility management operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Statutory & Labor Compliance
- Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws including PF, ESIC, Bonus, Gratuity, CLRA, Minimum Wages, Shops & Establishment Act, etc.
- Monitor timely filing of statutory returns and monthly compliance documentation.
- Maintain compliance records, registers, licenses, and certifications for all sites and branches.
- Coordinate with government departments and authorities for inspections and audits.
Client Compliance Management
- Ensure all client compliance requirements are fulfilled within timelines.
- Submit statutory documents, challans, and reports to clients regularly.
- Handle compliance audits conducted by clients and external agencies.
- Maintain vendor and subcontractor compliance documentation.
Audit & Documentation
- Conduct internal compliance audits across sites and branches.
- Prepare MIS reports related to compliance status and risk areas.
- Maintain proper documentation for labor contractors and deployed manpower.
- Ensure availability of employee records, wage registers, attendance, and statutory documents.
Risk & Process Management
- Identify compliance gaps and implement corrective actions.
- Develop and improve compliance SOPs and operational processes.
- Support legal and HR teams in handling labor disputes and notices.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and ethical standards.
Team Coordination
- Coordinate with HR, Operations, Payroll, Accounts, and Site Teams for compliance execution.
- Train site teams and stakeholders on labor law and statutory compliance requirements.
- Ensure compliance with the Four New Labour Codes including wage structure, PF, ESIC, gratuity, contractor compliance, payroll practices, employee benefits, and statutory documentation. Monitor labour law updates and implement compliance processes across all business operations and client sites.
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of labor laws and statutory compliance
- Understanding of PF, ESIC, payroll compliance, and contractor management
- Good documentation and audit handling skills
- Strong communication and coordination abilities
- Proficiency in MS Excel and compliance reporting
- Ability to manage multiple sites and deadlines
Qualification:
- Graduate / Post Graduate in HR, Law, Commerce, or related field
- Certification in Labor Laws / Compliance Management preferred
Experience:
- 5–10 years of experience in compliance management
- Experience in Facility Management, Staffing, Security Services, or Manpower Industry preferred
