Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Compliance Manager role based in Bengaluru. The Compliance Manager will oversee labor law compliance, ensuring adherence to all relevant regulations and standards. Key responsibilities include developing and implementing compliance programs, monitoring regulatory changes, preparing necessary documentation, performing audits, liaising with regulatory bodies, and providing compliance trainings to internal teams. The role also involves risk assessment, vendor compliance evaluation, and assisting in process improvement initiatives to optimize operational efficiencies.
Qualifications
- In-depth knowledge of labor laws, regulatory compliance, and audit practices.
- Proficiency in compliance documentation, reporting, and policy implementation.
- Strong skills in risk assessment, process improvement, and issue resolution.
- Effective communication, leadership, and training delivery skills.
- Analytical mindset to interpret regulatory updates and implement changes accordingly.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and vendors.
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, or a related field. A master’s degree or professional certification in compliance is a plus.
- Prior experience in compliance management, particularly in labor laws, is strongly preferred.
