Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Kolkata for a Compliance Manager. The Compliance Manager will oversee and manage the organization's adherence to statutory and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities include monitoring labor laws, handling tax and financial compliance, maintaining legal documents, ensuring adherence to corporate laws, managing contractor compliance, and liaising with regulatory authorities. The role also involves providing updated compliance reports, conducting regular audits, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure seamless compliance processes.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of labor law compliance, including PF, ESI, and professional tax requirements.
- Expertise in HR compliance, talent acquisition processes, payroll advisory, and HR documentation.
- Proficiency in financial compliance such as GST returns, TDS filings, and income tax consultancy.
- Familiarity with corporate and company law, including regulatory filings, company incorporation, and annual compliance management.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and ensure timely adherence to deadlines.
- Proficient in relevant software and tools for compliance and documentation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field preferred, with additional certifications in compliance being an advantage.
