Job Description: Finance Executive – Compliance
Role Summary
The Finance Executive – Compliance will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting statutory compliance, and ensuring timely reconciliation of financial data. This role requires strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and hands-on experience with accounting systems.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Bookkeeping
- Record and maintain accurate accounting entries, including:
- Bank transactions
- Sales entries
- GST invoice entries
- Maintain proper books of accounts in compliance with internal and regulatory standards
Reconciliation & Compliance
- Perform bank reconciliations on a regular basis
- Conduct vendor ledger reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
- Manage inter-branch reconciliations within the accounting system
- Perform monthly GSTR-2B reconciliation
- Maintain documentation and records required for statutory and compliance purposes
Data Management & Reporting
- Assist in gathering and consolidating financial data (expenses, revenues, etc.) from multiple sources
- Support preparation of reports and data for management review
- Ensure financial data is accurate, complete, and up to date
Systems & Process Support
- Work on Tally/ERP systems for accounting and reporting
- Utilize Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP) for analysis and reporting
- Support process improvements in compliance and reporting workflows
General Responsibilities
- Maintain organized financial records and documentation
- Assist reporting managers in day-to-day finance activities
- Handle ad-hoc tasks as required
Candidate Profile
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Commerce, Business, or Finance
- (BCom, BBA, BBM, BSc, MCom, MBA)
- Minimum 60% throughout academics (10th, 12th, Graduation)
Experience
- 1.5–3 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, or compliance
Skills & Competencies
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP)
- Hands-on experience with Tally or ERP systems
- Good understanding of GST and compliance processes
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication skills (English & Hindi)
- Organized and process-oriented
