Detailed Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Compliance Executive to support our Responsible Sourcing and Supply Chain Compliance program. The role is responsible for ensuring compliance with international responsible sourcing standards, including LBMA Responsible Sourcing Guidance (RSG) and LPPM Responsible PGM Guidance (RPG5). The incumbent will work closely with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and external auditors to manage supplier due diligence, regulatory compliance, risk assessments, audit coordination, and documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct Know Your Customer (KYC) and Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) for new and existing suppliers.
- Collect, review, and verify supplier documentation, including company registrations, trade licenses, UBO declarations, and ownership structures.
- Perform supplier risk assessments and identify high-risk suppliers requiring enhanced review.
- Screen suppliers against FATF, sanctions lists, EU CAHRA, Dodd-Frank conflict-affected regions, and other applicable high-risk country lists.
- Maintain supplier compliance records, risk registers, compliance databases, and documentation in line with company policies.
- Assist in preparing annual compliance reports under LBMA Responsible Sourcing Guidance (RSG) and LPPM Responsible PGM Guidance (RPG5).
- Coordinate with internal departments to gather evidence and documentation for compliance reporting.
- Support external compliance audits by coordinating with auditors, retrieving documents, and tracking audit observations until closure.
- Update supply chain compliance policies, SOPs, and procedures in line with changing regulatory requirements.
- Organize compliance training programs, maintain attendance records, and ensure all training documentation is audit-ready.
- Ensure proper document management and retention in accordance with the company's record retention policy.
- Liaise with Procurement, Finance, Legal, Operations, and external stakeholders on compliance-related matters.
- Monitor regulatory updates and recommend improvements to compliance processes.
Required Skills:
- Strong understanding of KYC, AML, Due Diligence, Compliance, Risk Assessment, and Regulatory Frameworks.
- Experience in supplier due diligence, sanctions screening, and compliance documentation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments with high attention to detail.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and document management systems.
- Ability to interpret regulatory guidelines and maintain audit-ready documentation.
Qualification:
- CA / LLB / MBA (Finance or Law) / Postgraduate in Compliance, Risk Management, or related discipline.
