Job Summary
Responsible for coordinating certification and customer audits and ensuring compliance with applicable domestic and export regulatory requirements. The role supports development and maintenance of certification and regulatory documentation, product label compliance, external laboratory coordination, and management of supplier and customer compliance documentation.
Key Responsibilities
· Coordinate external audits, certification audits, and customer audits, ensuring audit readiness and documentation availability.
· Support implementation and maintenance of certification standards and follow up on audit findings and compliance actions.
· Develop, implement, and maintain regulatory and certification-related documentation and records.
· Ensure compliance with domestic and export regulatory requirements applicable to the products.
· Review product labels, claims, and regulatory declarations to ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
· Coordinate product testing with external accredited laboratories and maintain test records.
· Develop and maintain supplier approval documents, specifications, and compliance records.
· Prepare and manage customer quality documentation such as product specifications, technical data sheets, and questionnaires.
· Coordinate export compliance documentation and regulatory requirements for international markets.
· Track regulatory updates and communicate relevant changes to internal departments.
Educational Qualification
B.Tech – Food Technology / Food Engineering
B.Sc / M.Sc – Food Science / Biotechnology / Microbiology / Biochemistry or related discipline
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in food regulatory compliance, certification management, or quality assurance in the food industry.
Key Skills
- Knowledge of Food Safety Management Systems (HACCP, FSSC 22000, BRC or other GFSI standards)
- Understanding of food regulations, labelling requirements, and export compliance
- Strong documentation and audit coordination skills
Good communication and cross-functional coordination ability
