Job Description
About the job: The Compliance Assistant will be part of the Compliance team in the GSS office and will own and execute responsibilities related to the day-to-day operations and projects handled by the Compliance team. S/he will report functionally to the Compliance Director based in the Head Office in London and will report administratively to the Compliance Team Leader based in the GSS office in Mumbai. This is a hands-on role requiring strong sense of ownership, excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
- As part of a team of Compliance Assistants, work on various projects decided by the business from time-to-time and work on the live workflow management tool (Compliance dashboard) when called upon to do so
- Work with sales teams across the company to resolve compliance issues on planned bookings
- Work in accordance with established SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) on tasks and projects
- Tasks may involve auditing of contracts and bookings
- Projects may involve follow-ups with Aircraft Operators and suppliers
Qualifications
Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree from a reputed university
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in office software (Word Processor, Spreadsheets, Presentations)
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Attention to detail
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
