Competitive Intelligence Analyst, Pharma (AI-Enabled)
Anervea (AI arm of GRG Health) | Pune / Gurugram | Full-time
About Anervea
Anervea is the AI arm of GRG Health, a healthcare intelligence company. We build software that helps pharmaceutical teams understand their competitive landscape and make faster, better-informed decisions.
Our flagship product, AlfaKinetic, is a competitive intelligence platform for pharma. It brings together more than 110 public data sources with GRG Health's own primary research, so commercial and medical teams can work from one place instead of stitching together scattered reports. We are a small, fast-moving team, and this role works closely with the people building and running the platform.
The Role
You will track the pharma competitive landscape and turn scattered signals into decision-ready insight. You will monitor pipelines, trials, and launches, and use the latest AI tools to research, analyze, and build faster.
This is a hands-on role for someone who combines real pharma domain depth with genuine curiosity about AI, and who is comfortable not just using AI tools but building with them. You will work directly with our founders and the CI team, and help shape how a growing CI function operates.
What You'll Do
• Monitor pipelines, trials, regulatory milestones, approvals, launches, and label changes across assigned therapeutic areas.
• Track competitors through trial registries, regulatory filings, congresses, investor decks, earnings calls, and news.
• Turn findings into crisp deliverables: competitor profiles, landscape assessments, event readouts, and CI newsletters.
• Use AI tools to accelerate literature review, document analysis, and drafting, then validate everything with human judgment.
• Build and maintain CI assets such as pipeline trackers and competitor dashboards.
• Support brand, medical, and commercial teams with ad-hoc requests, war-gaming, and scenario analysis.
• Track emerging AI tools and bring practical uses into CI workflows.
What You'll Need
• 3+ years in pharma or life-sciences competitive intelligence.
• Hands-on use of AI tools to create deliverables, for example LLMs for synthesis, drafting, or data extraction, and AI-assisted trackers or workflows.
• A solid grasp of AI and agentic workflows, with vibe-coding familiarity (e.g. Claude Code) to prototype and ship working outputs.
• Strong understanding of drug development, clinical trials, regulatory pathways, and commercial pharma.
• Fluency with core CI sources: ClinicalTrials.gov, regulatory databases, scientific literature, and company disclosures.
• Sharp analytical skills and clear, executive-ready communication.
• Bachelor's degree in life sciences, pharmacy, biotech, or a related field.
Nice to Have
• Advanced degree (M.Pharm, MSc, MBA, PharmD, or PhD).
• Depth in oncology, haematology, or CNS and neuroscience is a strong plus; immunology and rare diseases are also valued.
• Experience with CI and analytics platforms.
• Data or automation skills (Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or no-code / low-code tools).
• Prompt engineering and validation of AI-generated output.
What Makes Someone Great at This
• Domain depth. You know where competitive dynamics matter most.
• Analytical rigor. You separate signal from noise.
• AI fluency. You work faster with AI without losing accuracy.
• Communication. You turn analysis into a clear story.
• Ownership. You are proactive and organized under tight timelines.
• Ethics. You operate within legal and ethical CI boundaries.
What We Offer
• Direct work with founders and a close-knit team, with real ownership from day one.
• A front-row seat to how AI is changing competitive intelligence, and the freedom to build with the newest tools.
• Exposure across leading global pharma accounts and therapeutic areas.
• Room to grow as the CI function scales.
